| How to get to Boca del Drago |
From Changuinola to Boca del Drago:
We don't have regular stops in Boca del Drago any longer.
There was a problem with the owner of the dock and until
we find another solution we have suspended this service. If
you are a travel group of more than 10 you can contact us
for a trip to Drago.

From Bocas Town to Boca Del Drago:
There are several options:
1)
Since 09/19/03 you can take a bus to and from Drago, price $ 2.00 each way. The bus leaves
from the Park by the municipal building in about 3 hr intervals. We will no longer be picking
up from Drago to Bocas.
2)
You can book with one of several local tour operators to take you to Drago. Price is $ 15.00
per person including snorkel gear and there is usually a 4 or 5 person minimum.
3)
If you are energetic you can rent a bicycle for $ 15.00 a day and tackle the appr. 24 mile
round trip.
4)
You can rent a motor scooter for $ 50.00 a day.
5)
You can take a taxi for $ 25.00 each way

If you are arriving via Almirante you will have to go to Bocas Town first and than use one of
the options above. If there are more than 10 in your group you can contact us for a direct
trip.

| What to do at Boca del Drago |
Restaurant:
There is a restaurant in Drago that serves decent sea food at reasonable prices. However,
if there are many people be prepared to wait. In this case order before you get hungry. Ask
how long it will really take and go back to the beach in the meantime. The restaurant is just
about 20 meters from the beach, so you don't have to be glued to a chair there.
Snorkeling:
At the restaurant you can rent snorkel gear and they also have a shower for customers to
rinse off and change.
Kayak:
Kayak rental is also available at the restaurant.
Or just walk the beach and swim. There is a long strech of beach on the protected lagoon
side and a smaller beach facing the ocean.
There are also some cabins to rent, but we have no reliable information on this at this time.
